Delete your account
You can delete your RefBooth account and everything in it at any time. Deletion is immediate, complete and cannot be undone.
In the web app
- Open Settings › Data at app.refbooth.com.
- Under Delete account, choose Delete account.
- Type DELETE and confirm. Every track, every audio file, every report, every session and the account record itself are removed in one operation.
In the iPhone or Android app
- Open the You tab.
- Choose Export or delete your data.
- Type DELETE and choose Delete everything. Everything listed above is removed in one operation.
Without signing in
If you cannot sign in any more, email support@refbooth.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my RefBooth account". We will delete it and confirm by reply within 30 days, usually the same day.
What is deleted: your account record, your email address, every track, every audio file, every report and every section edit. What remains: if one of our administrators ever changed something on your account, that entry in our administration log, with your account's internal number and a one-way hash of your e-mail address in place of the address (details in the privacy policy). Nothing else. Encrypted backups roll forward on a fixed schedule (daily for a week, weekly for a month, monthly for six months); the deleted data ages out of them and they are never used to bring it back.
Deleting one track instead
Open the track's report and choose Delete this track. Its audio and its report are removed together. Your account stays.
